Grammy Award-winning violinist James Ehnes returns with Mendelssohn's beloved Violin Concerto. Individual members of the Orchestra are highlighted throughout the program in Bartók's masterpiece, the Concerto for Orchestra, and the winds are imaginatively featured in Martin's Concerto for Seven Winds. A Philadelphia night to remember.

Students who wish to obtain a ticket to one of our eligible concerts using their Cultural Passport should bring their Passport and student ID to the Kimmel Center Box Office on the day of the concert. The Box Office representatives will provide the student with either a free General Admission ticket and direct them to the college students table from which they will be seated, or a free regular ticketed seat and direct them to go directly to the concert hall. Tickets are dependent on availability.
